NEW BOOK DISPELS WOMEN'S MYTHS ABOUT MEN

A veteran of the comedy circuit, Darrell Joyce's cutting edge style and willingness to tackle the tough issues of today are well known to his legion of fans in comedy clubs across the country.

Now, he has taken off the gauntlet as he dispels the myths women perpetuate about men in his new book, "MisInformation Exposed: The Female Perpetuated Myths About Men, Volume 1." The book is available through amazon.com and barnesandnoble.com and by special order from most book stores.

The goal of the new book is clear: To show once and for all that there are indeed good men still out there and that they're all not married, gay or still living with their mothers. The book covers a wide range of issues - everything from deadbeat dads to the way women dress to attract a man.

This book is for men, but women will find it an extremely interesting read as well.

In "MisInformation Exposed: The Female Perpetuated Myths About Men, Volume 1," they will find some basic truths that run counter to what they have heard or been taught by their friends, family, boyfriends and spouses.

"I don't hate women," says Darrell. "Only what some women have become through their experiences, misperceptions, the media and relationships.

"I like to think of the book as comedy therapy," says Darrell. "It allows readers to see the world through a different set of eyes. Hopefully, women will learn that there are a bunch of great guys around who pay their bills on time, hold good jobs and want loving relationships; if they just stop believing what other women say."

Audiences who have been lucky enough to attend one of his performances would readily agree that laughter is indeed the best medicine. Darrell has opened for the likes of Chris Rock, Tommy Davidson, Dave Chapelle, Gilbert Godfried and D.L. Hughley. He's also been the opening act for performing artists Gladys Knight, The Beach Boys, The Righteous Brothers and Weird Al Yankovic.

A native of Columbus, Ohio, Darrell is regularly on tour these days, playing to packed houses throughout the U.S. He is also in high demand on the cruise ship circuit, entertaining cruisers young and old with his hilarious insights.
