Why Black Men Leave Home

Is there a rise in black men abandoning black women for other races, or simply more whining about the scarcity of good black men from the so-called "abundance" of good black women? How they feel this sense of entitlement to every black man on the planet -- even the ones they do not want, respect or, worse, appreciate -- is beyond me.

Black women's inexplicable contention of being in abundance while black men of quality are not feeds directly into the perception the media wants outsiders to subscribe to -- that black men are good-for-nothing. Their cries of us being either dead, gay, in prison, or with white women still resonates throughout. Many presume that white women are easier, freakier in bed, or more submissive. Or that we fear strong, independent black women. Any excuse for why they do not, and may never have that elusive good black man these women of other cultures seemingly have stolen from them when many were in no position to judge, and can't even make themselves happy, let alone please this elusive black man.

Simply put, the men crossing black women's Do bad by myself picket lines have likely tired of being told or treated as if they weren't not "baller", "gangsta", or good enough for these black women. But we're wrong if we find their wardrobes, foul attitudes, and abundance of illegitimate children, self-esteem and relationship issues, potty mouths, man-hating musicals of R&B "hits", and materialistic wants and needs questionable?

Many are quick to surmise that black men hate them, simply because we wish to edify them, or our spouse is not black. Some "act a fool" when they see other women with black men. Black men they didn't want until they spotted him with this woman! This unwittingly reinforces the many stereotypes for which many believe black men allegedly abandon black women in the first place. Mad because they don't have a man. Even more upset with the women dating the men they constantly speak ill of. ...Hmmm?
